The following information supplements our Shipping Policy above with operational details specific to LTL freight orders, delivery scheduling, damage inspection, and shipping times.
Truck Freight (LTL). If an LTL freight truck is needed, we provide free Curbside Delivery with Liftgate service, which means the delivery driver will lower your items to the ground. If additional service options are available, you will see a notification on the product page and be able to select your preferred service level at checkout for an additional fee. Most of our items require simple assembly.
- Curbside with Liftgate – Carrier lowers shipment from truck to curb. Included at no extra charge on eligible LTL orders.
- Threshold – Delivery to first dry area (garage or covered porch). Does not include inside delivery.
- Room of Choice – One- or two-person delivery to a designated room of your choice (up to two staircases).
- White Glove Packaging Removal – Room of Choice delivery plus removal of packaging materials.
- White Glove Light Assembly – Room of Choice delivery, packaging removal, and basic tool assembly up to thirty minutes.

Scheduling Your Delivery. Please include your best phone number on your order so the freight carrier can contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. Deliveries are scheduled during normal business hours (Monday through Friday) and you will receive a four-hour delivery window. Some carriers offer Saturday delivery for an additional fee. Charges may apply for missed appointments.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a separate email containing tracking information and instructions for what to do if your item arrives damaged.
Storage fees may apply if you choose to delay delivery. The shipping company is unable to store your item indefinitely; if delivery is delayed beyond a reasonable period, the carrier may legally return the merchandise to the manufacturer. If this occurs, you will be responsible for shipping costs both ways and any applicable restocking fee. Please do not delay delivery of your merchandise.
Inspecting Your Delivery. We provide insurance for all orders shipped by freight truck so your order is covered in the event shipping damage occurs due to careless handling during transit.
You must inspect all packages before signing for delivery. Prior to signing, note any visible damage you can see (such as tears in the box, punctures, or crushed corners) directly on the bill of lading (BOL) before signing. Failure to do so may affect your ability to claim shipping damage.
By accepting and signing for a damaged box without noting the damage, you acknowledge that you wish to receive the order as-is and forgo the right to a refund or replacement.
If you notice damage to the actual product due to shipping, please mark all damages on the BOL, refuse delivery, and contact us within two business days at support@thebarwarehouse.com for a replacement. If the boxes had no visible damage but you notice damage after unpacking, please contact us right away so we can file a claim. The signed BOL and photographs will be required.
Shipping Times. Standard parcel orders are typically processed and shipped within 24 to 48 hours, depending on the time of order placement. You will receive an email confirmation once your order is placed and a separate email with tracking information once your order ships. If an item is out of stock or on backorder, you will be notified by email as soon as possible.
For LTL freight orders, as long as your order is in stock, shipping time is typically two to five business days from the time the order is placed. Freight delivery times are not guaranteed; delays may occur due to weather or other factors beyond our control.
Order Fulfillment Disclaimer. In some rare cases, due to shipping restrictions, we may be unable to fulfill an order. If we are unable to fulfill your order, we will notify you by email and cancel the order in our system. If delivery is refused because the purchased item(s) cannot fit into the home, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs in accordance with our Return Policy.
Special Delivery Instructions. Customers may provide special delivery instructions in the "Special instructions for us" field at checkout.
